Interns will work to support the mission and vision of YoKid, a nonprofit providing yoga and meditation classes for low-income and at-risk youth.
Interns are expected to participate in the YoKid teacher training to reinforce the skills needed to teach one kids yoga class per/week. Interns will also assist with the day-to-day management of programs.
YoKid is a busy Alexandria based nonprofit that provides on-site yoga classes at youth friendly places throughout the Greater DC Area (ie. schools, recreation centers, etc) so that kids may reach their full potential physically, academically, socially, and emotionally.
